W.H. Siler - Grandpa

My brother, Jim the owner, and I have over 100+ years of combined experience in the automotive retailing industry.

Our grand father, W.H. Siler started the family in the automotive business. He used to buy cars from Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan. Grandpa would meet with Henry for lunch, buy his Model T's and then drive them back to his dealership in Merrill, Michigan to sell.

Grandpa started out selling Fords at the Merrill Garage and later on bought a Chevrolet franchise that his sons, John and Bob took over.

Our mother, Rose Reitz, started keeping books for her dad when she was in ninth grade. Notice all the modern equipment she had back then.

Huge ledger books, manual adding machine and no computers. She worked at the dealership for 44 years before retiring.

Jim and I grew up and around the car business for a good part of our lives and then we continued the tradition here in Colorado.
