Kevin called our office one morning and said, "I would like you to sell my used car...can you help me?"

After getting the car detailed it looked really sharp...

I did a market analysis to see what the value of the car was - research showed similar cars were selling for $27,800 to $29,999 retail.

We put the car on line at $29,999 and waited for the ads to populate the Internet.

Being a unique car we had to find the right buyer who wanted a Corvette.

After two weeks Kevin called me and wanted to drop the price by $500 dollars - with a hearty laugh he said, "sell my used car for me now...fall semester is just around the corner!"

At the beginning of the fourth week I got a call from David, who lives in South Dakota, who wanted to trade-in his Camaro on Kevin's Corvette.

David offered $28,500.

I called Kevin and presented him with the offer.

We countered back at $29,200 and David agreed to that price.

After many phone calls and Emails we worked the numbers out and put the deal together. (I took care of the trade - Kevin didn't want another car!)

David drove into Colorado the following Saturday and he and his wife drove home in their shinny red Corvette!

The following week Kevin brought his title in and picked up his check for $27,700! Which was $2,800 more than what he was offered from the Chevy dealer.

He left with check in hand and one happy Dad!
